The 2016 census showed a slight daily decrease in how much Irish is spoken in Ireland. The figures from Ireland's Census 2016 show 73,803 people, of the total population of 4.75 million, speak Irish daily. This equates to 1.7 percent of the population


English and Irish are the most widely spoken languages of Ireland, with the former being spoken by 94% of the population.
Ireland is famous for music of course. There's traditional Irish music of course and Celtic ballad of course. Then you have the modern musical geniuses of Ireland such as U2 and Sinead O'Connor. U2 are best known for songs such as Pride (In the Name of Love), With Or Without You, and Beautiful Day.

Wild mammal
The national land mammal/animal is unclear. The Irish hare (Lepus timidus) has been described as a national animal, as has the red deer (Cervus elaphus).
